About Ed Mylett

Today one of World Financial Group, Inc.'s top executives, Ed Mylett, has been with the Georgia-based financial services marketing company for nearly two decades. The Diamond Bar, California, native studied at University of the Pacific in Stockton, where he majored in communications and played baseball as a member of the NCAA Division I Pacific Tigers. Ed Mylett received All-American honors for three years.

Following graduation, Ed Mylett worked briefly as a youth counselor for underprivileged teen males before accepting his initial job with World Financial Group (WFG) in 1992. A subsidiary of AEGON, WFG extends a variety of financial services and products, such as life insurance, to its customers. Independent associates of WFG seek out citizens and families that the rest of the financial services industry might ignore or neglect.

It took only a few years for Ed Mylett to construct a substantial and prosperous crew with WFG's affiliate in Chino Hills, California, where Ed Mylett and his family continue to make their home today.

Subsequently, the company offered Ed Mylett the post of CEO Marketing Director which made him one of the youngest in the company's history. He progressed to Senior Vice Chairman and shortly thereafter the company named him to the Chairman's Council. Ed Mylett achieved WFG's top promotion level of Executive Vice Chairman and the company honored him with membership in its Millionaire Hall of Fame. Ed Mylett was given that distinction before he turned 30 years old.

In 2009, the newly created Director of Field Leadership became Ed Mylett's newest WFG title. As part of his position, Ed Mylett uses his teaching skills and field experience as a "peak performance coach" to train WFG associates. Through meetings, retreats, and conference calls he mentors employees in small groups or one-to-one. Ed Mylett also regularly participates in strategy sessions with regard to raising the financial stats and the number of new associates recruited to the company.
